JAX® Breeding and Colony Management services save you time, space, money, and simplify all aspects of managing your mouse colonies. These services provide direct access to our expertise in breeding and maintaining genetically defined and modified mice.
Aging Services will maintain your research strain, or any JAX® Mice strain, and deliver mice to you at ages appropriate for your research projects.
Breeding Services will help you quickly and efficiently achieve your objectives, whether to relieve capacity constraints at your facility, rederive mice to improve the health of your colonies, or manage complex, multiple gene crossbreeding projects. This Service will maintain and ship mice to you as needed.
Dedicated Supply Service will build a colony of specialty JAX® Mice to ensure that they are provided in the quantities and on the schedule necessary to meet your requirements.
Rederivation Service provides a safe solution to obtain specific pathogen free (SPF) mice, rederived by hysterectomy or embryo transfer, from mouse colonies that have become infected with a pathogen.
Speed Expansion Service uses in vitro fertilization to rapidly expand your breeding colonies, saving significant time compared to expansion through standard breeding. All mice produced are born within a week of each other and are specific pathogen free.
Sponsored Strain Distribution Service provides a convenient and cost-effective means to distribute your mouse strains to the biomedical research community and also fulfills the NIH requirement for sharing of model organisms.
Strain Rescue Service provides a variety of options for recovering mouse strains endangered by poor breeding, health issues or other problems. We have helped researchers worldwide recover many irreplaceable mouse models.
